2. Data We Collect
Account data
Name, email address, hashed password, subscription status.
Practice content
CV text you upload, interview answers (text and voice transcripts), quiz responses, and generated feedback reports. Voice audio is transcribed and the raw audio is not stored.
Usage data
Feature usage events (e.g. "interview started"), session counts, and voice minutes consumed — used for billing limits and analytics.
Payment data
We do not store card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, who retains payment method data under their own privacy policy.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide, personalise, and improve the Service.
- To enforce billing limits and manage subscriptions.
- To send transactional emails (password reset, billing receipts).
- To detect and prevent abuse or fraud.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your CV text or interview answers to train AI models.
4. AI Processing
Interview questions and feedback are generated by OpenAI (GPT-4o-mini). Your prompts (target role, CV excerpt, answers) are sent to OpenAI's API. OpenAI processes this data under their API data usage policy, which states they do not use API data to train their models by default.
5. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. By using the Service, you consent to the use of essential cookies. You may opt out of non-essential cookies via your browser settings.

7. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Interview sessions, reports, and quiz history are stored indefinitely so you can review them. If you delete your account, all personal data is removed within 90 days. Usage records required for financial compliance may be retained for up to 7 years.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to certain processing activities.

9. Security
Passwords are hashed before storage. All traffic is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. Payment credentials are never stored on our servers. We regularly review our security practices, but no system is completely immune to breach — we will notify you promptly if your data is affected.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect changes. For significant changes we will notify you by email.
